DIGITAL TACHOGRAPH TRAINING

As a driver or manager you will know there is more to just popping your card in to a VU and off you go, The unit records every movement that the vehicle makes and records the time of the movements so it’s important you know how to work it correctly and understand what you’re doing.

Training for Managers

 

Course Content for Managers will include:-

  • Downloading of information

  • Storage of information

  • Locking of records

  • "UTC" time

  • Fitters / maintenance staff and the Digital Tachograph

  • Legislation

  • Productivity tools

  • Endorsements and Penalties

Training for Drivers

Course Content for drivers will include:-

  • What is a driver card

  • How to use the driver card

  • Operating the digital tachograph

  • Time settings

  • Adding manual entries

  • Mode switch settings

  • Printing a report

  • How to change paper

  • Endorsements and Penalties

  • Legislation

TRAINING FOR SIEMENS, ACTIA AND STONERIDGE

Course Duration

The course typically lasts 4 hours. Each delegate will receive a certificate of basic training.
